For those in need...

Well, I guess is a not so nice month after all, I like rain, I definitely love raining. There is a song from Eddie Rabbit call "I love a rainy night", I remember that song from an album my father bought about 20-23 years ago when I was just a little boy. I grew with that album, and even now I can sing some of the songs out of my memory.

So I like raining, but I think I dont like whats going on the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico, I am really sorry for the families who went through the Frances Hurricane and the near to Yucatan Ivan Hurricane. I know its not easy to experience a Hurricane, I did when I was 9 years old.

The Gilberto Hurricane arrived to my city right on September, even tho we only experienced a small part of the Hurricane we went into a lot of damage in the city. Thousands of people left without their homes, hundreds of deads and so much more injured.

I can recall being at home, unable to come out, just watching the storm devastating our city. I consider myself and my family as lucky ones since we did not suffer too much, but I watched, and I felt the pain of the unlucky families.

That Hurricane brought not just chaos but also a brotherhood feeling into the city, many people helped others, lots of trucks here and there bringing food to the homeless, sheets and beds on the streets for the people who lost everything. I think I can say that we all became brothers.

Now there is a lot of people suffering in Florida, the Caribbean Islands and soon there might be others in Yucatan and Quintana Roo, lets hope the Ivan Hurricane to lose strenght so there can be less damage or no damage at all. In any case its only a hope, but also, in any case, lets be prepared, not just to stand a Hurricane through our path but also lets be prepared to help those who cannot avoid the chaos of such natural event.

In these days where the humanity reminds all the suffering from the past (9/11, Pinochet, etc) lets be prepared to become brothers, we are not alone in this life, we are together, and as such I should help those in need, nobody wants to be the next, but just in case, we are sure somebody would help us if needed, so lets do the same.

If anybody knows of a group, organization or foundation that takes charity for the affected ones on this storm season please post the URLs on the site. I will do some research and post whatever I can find.

In advance... thanks...

Once and again...

3 years ago I was waking up in the begining of one of the worst days in history. I can remember myself walking towards my parent's room and seeing on the TV the images of horror and pain that I just cant forget year after year... Today I woke up and the first thing I saw on the TV was the same image, the same pain, the same horror...

I hear on the screen the screams of people when they see the second plane crashing on the tower and I feel those screams inside of me, the agony is something I dont want to for anyone, yet I can feel the same agony of those waving a shirt out of a window from a tower near to collapse...

3 yeas have passed and the feeling reamins on every living person, there is no need to check on who really did it, it doesn't matter, what matters is that innocent people is now gone, and they shouldn't be...

I cry for the victims, and I pray for their souls and for their families, I hope this kind of things never happen again, not here, not there, not anywhere.

Lets not forget that it happens everyday, on a starving child, on a killed woman, on a kidnapped person, this things happen everyday, lets not be reminded of it just once in a year, we surely dont want another 9-11 to remind that there is horror in our world, lets fight against the injustice, every single person in their house, in their community, with your friends, with your lover, lets share the optimism of peace, we can reach that goal if we never forget what happened 3 years ago.

Lets not use the power of anger, lets use the power of love, love for those who paid an unwanted debt.

Time to travel...

Well, i've just started my Master on Telematics, it seems to be a good choice given the circumstances of the world, I guess much of the information being transmitted over the networks must reach far places quite fast. But then I wonder why it took 3 hours for my locals news to know that a plane crashed near a rural area at Villahermosa, Tabasco. I mean its only 2,000 km from my house to the place where the plane crashed. I can get news faster from the other side of the planet in the same news program.
